Ranveer Singh has been making headlines for the Tsunami that has taken over his professional life. Amidst a massive storm brewing in tinsel town, the actor made his first public appearance on Tuesday morning at the Mumbai airport. This marks his first appearance after he was banned by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) over Don 3 row.

Ranveer Singh spotted at Mumbai airport amid ban

This morning, Ranveer Singh grabbed eye-balls at the Mumbai airport. The Dhurandhar star opted for an elegant and muted airport look as he jetted off from the city of dreams. Keeping his head high amid tight security, Singh arrived in a traditional look with a face mask and dark sunglasses, smoothly navigating past the paparazzi.

The actor’s appearance comes less than 24 hours after FWICE dropped a bombshell press conference on Monday, announcing an industry-wide ban (non-cooperation directive) against him.

According to FWICE Chief Advisor Ashoke Pandit, President Birendra Nath Tiwari, and Honorary General Secretary Ashok Dubey, the drastic step was taken following a formal complaint filed by filmmaker Farhan Akhtar and his production house, Excel Entertainment, which is backing Don 3.

Tiwari told the media, “The non-cooperation notice has been implemented right away. No member of the film body will work with Ranveer Singh.” He further added that until Singh comes forward and discusses the matter, the non-cooperation will remain implemented.

The makers alleged that Ranveer abruptly walked out of Don 3 just weeks before the production unit was scheduled to depart, resulting in massive logistical disruptions and heavy financial losses impacting thousands of daily wage workers and crew members.

FWICE claimed Ranveer ignored three formal notices to present his side of the story, leading to the immediate directive instructing all production houses, technicians, and workforce members to cut professional ties with the superstar until the dispute is resolved.

Just hours after the ban was made public, Ranveer’s official spokesperson broke the silence by releasing a media statement. The Dhurandhar The Revenge actor's team stated that he holds the highest regard for the industry and the Don franchise, but prefers to handle professional matters away from media trial rooms.
