While talking to Pinkvilla, Sharvari shared her excitement about the track. She said, "I’ve always been a huge fan of Bollywood music because songs have a way of becoming a part of people’s memories and moments. That’s why seeing audiences shower so much love on songs that I’m associated with feels incredibly meaningful. From Taras to Haan Ke Haan and now Maskara, these songs may be completely different in their mood and personality, but the love they've received from audiences has been equally special."

The actor further revealed, "What I’m enjoying most about Maskara is seeing the creativity people have brought to it. Every day, I come across new versions that are unique and completely their own, and it’s been such a joy watching the song resonate with so many people in different ways. As an artist, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing audiences connect with your work and make it a part of their own stories. I’m genuinely loving all the versions people are creating and hope they continue to have fun with the song."
