Ever since Bollywood’s power couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal welcomed their first child, baby boy Vihaan Kaushal, in November 2025, fans have been eagerly waiting for details about the little one. While the couple has chosen to keep the child away from the spotlight, proud grandfather Sham Kaushal has finally answered the burning question: Who does the youngest Kaushal look like?
Sham Kaushal reveals Vihaan looks like Vicky Kaushal
In a conversation with India Today, when Vicky Kaushal’s father, Sham Kaushal, was asked whether Vihaan Kaushal resembles his father, Vicky, or his mother, Katrina Kaif, the senior action director didn't hesitate. “I think he looks like Vicky,” the doting grandfather revealed with a smile.
The 70-year-old veteran admitted to being completely wrapped around his grandson's little finger. “He has changed my life,” Sham shared, adding, “Whenever I am busy with work and can't hug him physically, I do a couple of video calls with him and talk to him. He is so nice. I thank God as much as I can.”
Dismissing any notion that his National Award-winning son was a naughty child, Sham fondly reminisced about Vicky's early years. “No, Vicky was not naughty. He was a very sorted child. He was nice,” he divulged.
Kaushal expressed immense gratitude for his family, adding, "There are so many parents in the world who are blessed by their children. I am one of them. I had never imagined all this. I have got two wonderful kids, and my daughter-in-law (Katrina Kaif) is so nice. I thank God.”
In the same interview, Vicky and Sunny Kaushal’s father revealed that retirement is nowhere in his near future. “They keep telling me to stop working. But what will I do if I don't work? I have been working since I was nine years old. What will I do after having tea and breakfast?” he laughed.
However, he noted that earlier he worked with insecurity about taking care of his family and kids. But now, he is in a secure zone. “I don't have to worry about money. I am working with good people, and I am enjoying it more,” he divulged.
