Sidharth Malhotra fans have a major reason to celebrate. The actor has officially locked in the theatrical release date for his highly anticipated project, The Vvaan: Force of the Forrest, which is set to hit cinemas on September 25, 2026. Read on to know more about the film.
Vvaan hits cinemas this September
The upcoming folklore-inspired epic saga, Vvaan, is being touted as a folklore spectacle that has generated significant buzz since its initial announcement in November 2024. The film promises a unique cinematic experience, with recent promotional assets revealing its intriguing, mystical world.
A recently unveiled motion poster offered fans a glimpse into the film, featuring a warrior-like figure standing between a bull and a tiger in a dramatic situation. This symbolic imagery has set the stage for what is expected to be a grand spectacle. With the poster, the team also announced the release date of the movie.
In the caption, they mentioned, “Baagh uski dahaad hai… Nandi uski shakti. Aur Vvaan… uski kahaani. #THEVVAAN in cinemas on 25th September, 2026.”

Earlier, the team had even launched a comic book titled The Legend Of Vvan to build excitement ahead of the release. Sidharth Malhotra leads the project, starring alongside Tamannaah Bhatia, who plays the female lead.
Apart from them, actors like Anup Soni, Shweta Tiwari, Durgesh Kumar, Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul and others will also be playing key roles in the thriller.
The film marks the coming together of Balaji Motion Pictures and TVF Motion Pictures, with Deepak Kumar Mishra directing the project. It’s penned by Arunabh Kumar with DOP and Visual Director Manu Anand and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar and Niraj Kothari.
Talking about Sidharth Malhotra’s work front, the actor and new father was last seen in the romantic-comedy film Paran Sundari. Helmed by Tushar Jalota, the family entertainer features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.
