Legendary Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter Dishani Chakraborty has officially announced her engagement to her longtime partner, Myles Mantzaris. Taking to Instagram, the couple shared breathtaking glimpses of a romantic seaside proposal in a joint post. Well, if you’re also wondering who this lucky man is, then read on!
Who is Myles Mantzaris?
Friends, family, fans, and followers of Mithun Chakraborty’s daughter, Dishani Chakraborty, jumped in joy when she dropped dreamy pictures from her proposal. Her beau, Myles Mantzaris, planned the surprise in a scenic setup on a cliff overlooking the ocean in Malibu, California, complete with candles and sunflowers.
Myles went down on one knee to pop the question. Dishani shared the happy news with a sweet caption, “06.12. 2026... The easiest forever I've ever known,” confirming that the couple is set to tie the knot on December 6, 2026.
As congratulations poured in from celebs and family members, including Dishani’s brothers Mimoh and Namashi Chakraborty, many were eager to know more about the man who won her heart.
While Dishani comes from one of Indian cinema’s most prominent families, Myles is a well-established creative professional working behind the lens in the international entertainment space. Well, he works in the entertainment industry as a freelance cinematographer, steadicam operator, Director of Photography (DP), and colorist.
Myles’s website mentions that he graduated from Ithaca College in 2020 with a Cinema Production degree. A year later, he moved to LA in 2021 and started his career at an Entertainment agency. After a year, he went freelance to pursue steadicam and cinematography opportunities.
Apparently, he works on narrative productions, commercials, music videos, and social media content for YouTube and influencers. He has worked for clients such as Paramount Pictures, the NFL, ESPN, Activision, Away Luggage, Facebook, UFC, and more. He collaborated on the music video for the song Unethical by popular Moroccan singer Faouzia.
Much like Myles, Dishani has been carving out her own artistic path behind and in front of the camera. Having studied acting and filmmaking in the United States at the New York Film Academy and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, she has written, produced, and acted in several independent short films.
Though the couple has mostly kept their relationship low-key and away from mainstream media scrutiny over the years, Myles has occasionally appeared on Dishani's social media platforms.
