Bangladesh will lock horns with Sri Lanka on Tuesday at Bristol in the match number 16 of ongoing World Cup 2019. Bangladesh after producing formidable performances in the first two matches didn’t enjoy their outing against hosts England in the last game. The Bangla Tigers though wouldn’t be short of confidence as they have been playing exceptionally well. Particularly, the batsmen were quite consistent in these matches for them while bowling still needs to improve a bit. All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been their backbone. The flamboyant cricketer is in the form of his life, making Bangladesh’s case stronger in the tournament.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka has had an interesting journey in the event thus far. They started with a crushing defeat, came back strongly in the second one while the third match against Pakistan was washed out. They now have three points from three games and stand at the sixth spot in the points table. Meanwhile, the rain is lately turning out to be a spoiler as two matches have already been abandoned. We can expect a few more rain-hit encounters as the tournament goes on. Here are the weather and pitch conditions expected for tomorrow’s game.

Weather report

To fans dismay, there are again 90% chances of rain at Bristol tomorrow. There will be cloud cover and drizzle throughout the day, which means we could witness one more match being abandoned. The temperature is expected to be around 10-13 celsius while humidity will be in the ’80s.

Pitch conditions

There haven’t been many matches played at County Ground, though the track mostly remains batsman-friendly. However, with forecasted weather, seam bowlers might also find some help if the match takes place.
