PRDP holds fort at the Box Office, sets the cash registers ringing!
Salman Khan's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is on its way to set the cash registers ringing. The Salman-Sonam starrer, held firm on Saturday with business a bit higher than the previous day. The film is being driven by Mumbai and Central India circuits which have done record business for the first three days. The business of PRDP from thursday to saturday is, 96.5 crore nett. The film is heading for a 125 crore nett plus extended weekend as the film comes through well on Saturday.The film has earned 39-40 crore nett on Day 1, and did a business of 29 crore nett on Day 2.
Even though the collections on Saturday have dropped a little compared to Friday, but it is a minimal drop. The business so far has ensured a 'hit' and now it will be Monday that will tell what sort of final number the film can go to. It will be interesting to see how and if PRDP manages to matches the huge number of Salman's last blockbuster, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. However, so far so good for PRDP!
