Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher's debut film Mirzya failed to mint moolah at the box office. The film earned INR 1.75 crore on Day 1 and on Saturday, it showed a drop and collected INR 1.50 crore. Released in 1700 screens across the domestic market on October 7, the film failed to strike a chord with the audience and minted INR 3.25 crore in two days of its release.

The film based on the Punjabi folklore of Mirza Sahiban has been praised for its visual brilliance and rich music, thanks to Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Gulzar. However, the film has been criticized for the performances by its lead actors.

The film will need a marginal growth on Sunday in order to make a mark at the box office. Let's wait for the opening weekend collection for the film!

dont be harsh on Harsh. lol nepotism alert. he would be given another chance bcz he is a star kid and then u have actors like karthik aryan and saqeeb salim who are talented ignored -___-

Well film failed but no the performances have applauded I saw hundreds of tweets by the people who watched and said that they both were flawless and it didn't look like it was their debut film whivh is true sincr intoo watched and felt the same movie is slow and has some flaws but bith the actors have surpassed the ecpectations, so I feel the debut awards this year are theirs specially harshvardhan.

wat else can u expect from brother of 2 most talentless nepo kids in this world-Sonam & Arjun Kapoor!!

ROFL!!!

Performance have not been criticized..in fact they are liked by most

i am sure for consolationsake, they will buy him all debutant awards of this year...

Bollywood needs fresh ideas and outsider acting talent.

I liked the movie. It's a classic...not one dull moment. Performances were great esp. for their first movie. Great cinematography, the scenery was just wow. I don't think it's a 'Punjabi' folklore rather Rajasthani!!!

Hi Sonam.

LOL!!

So it's a disaster, the only way a film can grow post opening weekend is if WOM is strong which isn't the case here

The film didn't even have an ok opening!!lol
