Batla House Box Office Collection Day 13: John Abraham starrer registers decent numbers on the weekday

A film that has been in the headlines due to the subject and theme, it is John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer Batla House. Based on a true incident that took place in Jamia Nagar in New Delhi, the film traces the events that took place on the day of the encounter of terrorists by a team of cops led by John Abraham aka ACP Sanjay Kumar. The film also stars Ravi Kishan, Nora Fatehi, Manish Chaudhary and Rajesh Sharma.
Batla House had released on Independence Day and was among the highly anticipated films of the year. Talking about the box office collection, Batla House has been doing much better weekday business as compared to Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal. As per Box Office India, John Abraham starrer minted Rs 1.90 Crore on Tuesday and the total box office collection till date is close to 80 Crore nett. From Monday’s business, Batla House witnessed a nominal drop of 5%. Yet, it is holding steady and is going strong.

Batla House is helmed by Nikhil Advani and is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham and Sandeep Leyzell. The film’s song, O Saki Saki is a trending chartbuster and the Batla House got rave reviews from critics as well as the public. The other film that released with Batla House was Mission Mangal starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi. Both films are doing well at the box office and it will be interesting to see how their business is affected as the biggest film of 2019, Saaho starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor is releasing this Friday.
