Batla House Box Office Collection Day 7: John Abraham starrer earned THIS much on Wednesday
Batla House which clashed with Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal is performing well at the box office on weekdays too. With an impressive start, the movie's collection later witnessed a standard and normal drop.
Batla House which clashed with Akshay Kumar starrer Mission Mangal is performing well at the box office on weekdays too. With an impressive start, the movie's collection later witnessed a standard and normal drop. Speaking of day 7 i.e. Wednesday's collection, the film collected Rs. 3.75 crore, taking the seven day total to Rs 56 crore nett, as per Box Office India. Last year, John starrer Satyamev Jayate which was released in Independence day had collected around 59 crore nett in the first seven days.
For the unversed, the movie earned Rs. 4.25 crore nett on Tuesday and can collect around Rs 60 crore by the end of the week. John starrer opened with 14 crores collection and saw a 50% dip on Friday which was a non-holiday. However, the flick continued to rake in moolah on weekend and collected Rs 4 crore 50 lacs on Monday.
Speaking of the movie, the same is directed by Nikkhil Advani and is based on the real incident of Batla House encounter that took place on September 2008 in Delhi's Jamia Nagar area. In the encounter, two suspected terrorists and a decorated police officer were killed. Aside from John Abraham, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Manish Chaudhari and Rajesh Sharma in the key roles.
