Bhooth Bangla Box Office: Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan's film on verge of crossing Housefull 5, records STRONG hold in 7th weekend
Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, added Rs. 2.25 crore to the tally in its 7th weekend, bringing its total cume closer to the lifetime cume of Housefull 5.
Akshay Kumar's horror comedy drama, Bhooth Bangla, continued to gain audience even in its 7th week. The movie added Rs. 2.25 crore to the tally in its 7th weekend, with Rs. 1 crore coming on Sunday. That's a promising hold to say the least.
The running cume of the 39-day theatrical run of Bhooth Bangla now stands at Rs. 167 crore nett at the Indian box office. The movie is now on the verge of overtaking the lifetime cume of Housefull 5 (Rs. 168 crore), which is possibly coming on this Tuesday. It will emerge as the second biggest grosser of Akshay Kumar in the post-2020 era, only trailing behind Sooryavanshi (Rs. 195.50 crore).
Khiladi Kumar has been going through a rough patch at the box office in the last couple of years. With back-to-back successful ventures last year and, finally, a Clean Hit with Bhooth Bangla, the actor is back in his element. All eyes are now on its upcoming 2026 releases: Welcome To The Jungle, Haiwan, and an untitled film with Anees Bazmee.
