Bhooth Bangla Box Office: Akshay Kumar's horror comedy wraps 6th weekend at Rs. 2.60 crore, nears theatrical end
Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla is looking to close this week around Rs. 165 crore mark, with an eye on surpassing the lifetime cume of Housefull 5.
Bhooth Bangla is holding steadily well at the box office, even in its 6th week. The movie closed its 6th weekend, minting Rs. 2.60 crore. That's a 25 per cent dip from the previous weekend. The running cume of Bhooth Bangla now stands at Rs. 162.60 crore nett at the Indian box office.
The Priyadarshan directorial is running in its final legs. The horror comedy is looking to close this week, around Rs. 4.50 crore, which will take its total cume to the Rs. 165 crore mark. It also has a chance at surpassing Housefull 5's lifetime cume of Rs. 168 crore nett in India.
Akshay Kumar has been going through a rough patch at the box office post 2020. With back-to-back successful ventures last year and, finally, a Clean Hit with Bhooth Bangla, the actor is back in his element.
The industry tends to have a good time when Akshay Kumar delivers hits. He makes sure to do two or three HITs or successful films a year; it is equally important, as that keeps the box office ticking.
