Bhooth Bangla Box Office Week 7: Akshay Kumar's horror comedy crosses Housefull 5, nears Rs 170 crore mark
Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, added Rs. 3.50 crore in its 7th week, taking the total cume to Rs. 168.25 crore nett at the Indian box office.
Bhooth Bangla collected Rs. 3.50 crore in its 7th week, registering a 25 per cent drop from the previous week. That's a good hold to say the least. The Akshay Kumar starrer took its entire theatrical run of 49 days to Rs. 168.25 crore nett at the Indian box office.
With this sort of impressive theatrical run, the movie surpassed the lifetime theatrical run of Housefull 5 and emerged as the second biggest grosser of Akshay Kumar in the post-2020 era. It remained only behind Sooryavanshi's Rs. 196 crore nett.
Khiladi Kumar has been going through a rough patch at the box office in the last couple of years. With back-to-back successful ventures last year and, finally, a Clean Hit with Bhooth Bangla, the actor is back in his element. The actor is now gearing up for his next biggie, Welcome To The Jungle, which is slated to hit the big screens on June 26, 2026.
