Chand Mera Dil Box Office Collections: Lakshya and Ananya Panday-led romantic drama records muted jump on 2nd Tuesday, hits Rs 25 crore mark
Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer Chand Mera Dil, directed by Vivek Soni, is looking to close its second week around Rs. 27 crore at the Indian box office.
Chand Mera Dil added Rs. 95 lakh to the tally on its second Tuesday, maintaining almost a low-but-steady hold at the box office. The movie couldn't show any significant spike on discounted Tuesday as it was aided with a Buy-One-Get-One offer on Monday. The romantic drama took its second week's cume to Rs. 6.80 crore in five days.
With this sort of run, the Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer reached the Rs. 25 crore mark at the Indian box office. The Vivek Soni directorial is looking to close this week around Rs. 27 crore. It will face a couple of new releases, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Bandar, and Peddi, from the coming weekend.
The movie is expected to slow down its momentum after the new releases. Based on current trends, Chand Mera Dil is looking to wrap up its entire box office run around Rs. 35 crore or so. That's a reasonable total for the cast involved, but it still won't change its fate at the box office. The 'rom-com' space itself is suffering in the post-2020 era, with only a handful of romantic dramas able to break through and emerge as big Hits.
