Chand Mera Dil Box Office Day 5: Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer collects Rs 1.75 crore on discounted Tuesday, approaches Rs 15 crore mark
Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer Chand Mera Dil, directed by Vivek Soni, is looking to wind up its opening week around Rs. 16 to 17 crore nett at the Indian box office.
Chand Mera Dil recorded a good hold on its first Tuesday, thanks to the affordable ticket prices. It added Rs. 1.75 crore to the tally on its Day 5, registering a 10 per cent drop from the previous day. The running cume of Chand Mera Dil now stands at the Rs. 14 crore mark.
The Lakshya and Ananya Panday-led film is looking to end its opening week at around Rs. 16-17 crore at the Indian box office. Though the fate of the romantic drama is already sealed, it will be interesting to see whether the movie can show some legs on the second weekend. The movie will have a clean run until the release of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Peddi, and Bandar.
Small and mid-sized movies, especially in this genre, have suffered in the post-pandemic times. However, there were a few exceptions like Saiyaara and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which were big hits at the box office. Let's see if Chand Mera Dil can surprise in the coming days.
