Chand Mera Dil Box Office Opening Week: Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer nets Rs 18 crore plus in 7 days
Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer Chand Mera Dil, directed by Vivek Soni, is looking to see a good spike in the second weekend at the Indian box office.
Chand Mera Dil collected Rs. 2.25 crore on its Day 7 (Thursday), registering a 20 per cent drop from the previous day. The spike came due to the Eid al-Adha holiday on Thursday. The romantic drama, directed by Vivek Soni, wrapped up its opening week around Rs. 18.25 crore nett at the Indian box office.
Backed by Dharma Productions, the Lakshya and Ananya Panday starrer is expected to see a good growth in the second weekend since there is no fresh significant release this weekend. The movie should aim to surpass the Rs. 25 crore mark by the end of the second Sunday. The movie has a clean run until the release of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Bandar, and Peddi.
Small and mid-sized movies, especially in this genre, have suffered in the post-pandemic times. However, there were a few exceptions like Saiyaara and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which were big hits at the box office. Let's see if Chand Mera Dil can surprise in the coming days.
