Cocktail 2 collected Rs.1.55 crore nett on its second Tuesday, recording a 15 per cent spike from the previous day. The 5-day second week cume reached Rs. 14.15 crore nett, which took its entire box office cume to Rs. 78.15 crore nett at the Indian box office.
Directed by Homi Adajania, the romantic comedy drama is expected to close this week at Rs. 80 crore, and then it will head towards its final target. Based on current trends, the movie is expected to wind up its entire theatrical run around Rs. 85-90 crore nett. On face value, this is a good amount, but it's aided by the external factors, which spoiled all the fun.
That said, the Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer will end up being a flop even after outside factors aid its theatrical run.
