Deool Band 2 Box Office Collections Day 5: Pravin Tarde's film collects Rs 3.75 crore on Tuesday, grosses Rs 26 crore in 5 days
Pravin Tarde's latest directorial Deool Band 2 continued to perform well at the box office. The movie is looking to wind up its opening week around Rs. 35 crore mark.
Deool Band 2, directed by Pravin Tarde, collected Rs. 3.75 crore on its Day 5. It registered a 25 per cent spike over the opening day. The running cume of Deool Band 2 now stands at Rs. 26.25 crore gross at the Indian box office.
The Marathi devotional drama is expected to keep gaining traction on Wednesday and Thursday as well. The Eid al-Adha (Bakrid) holidays shall also benefit the film. Based on current trends, the movie is looking to wind up its opening week around Rs. 35 crore gross. These strong weekdays mean the 2nd weekend shall hold extremely well, possibly even on par or more than the first weekend. It will be around or over the Rs. 50 crore mark by the 2nd Sunday, from there, its chase for the highest-grossing Marathi language film will begin.
Deool Band 2 turned out to be a massive hit at the box office. The Pravin Tarde directorial is performing better than Raja Shivaji in Maharashtra. If it manages to perform well on the 2nd and 3rd weeks too, it has the huge potential to emerge as the biggest grosser of the Marathi Industry in their home markets.
