Deool Band 2 Box Office Collections: Marathi devotional drama DOUBLES UP on Day 3, grosses solid Rs 11.50 crore in 3 days
Deool Band 2 witnessed a phenomenal growth on its third day, doubling up its opening day. The movie is looking to record the second biggest opening weekend for a Marathi film ever.
Marathi film Deool Band 2 continues to perform well at the box office. The movie added Rs. 5.75 crore to the tally on its Day 3, which is almost double its opening day. The 3-day running cume of the devotional comedy drama reached Rs. 11.50 crore gross at the Indian box office.
The film should further grow over Sunday and may add Rs. 7 crore to the tally as advances are astonishing. That gives the film a 4-day weekend haul of Rs. 18.5 crore, which will be the 2nd highest of all time for a Marathi film, only behind Raja Shivaji. Interestingly, the box office trend of Deool Band 2 is far superior to the Riteish Deshmukh starrer. Since Marathi films tend to leg extremely well, this may end up competing with Raja Shivaji, especially in the Marathi version.
Deool Band 2 is mainly gaining positive reception among the audience, which is driving its business. The original film was released in 2015, and it was a big success. With the glowing reception of the sequel, the future of this franchise seems very bright.
