Deool Band 2 Box Office Collections Opening Week: Pravin Tarde's film witnesses DREAM run, storms past Rs 35 crore mark in 8 days
Deool Band 2 witnessed a phenomenal growth on its Day 8 (Thursday), thanks to Eid holiday. The movie is looking to record a huge second weekend ahead.
Marathi film Deool Band 2, directed by Pravin Tarde, maintained a strong grip at the box office. The movie recorded another spike on Thursday, thanks to the Eid al-Adha holiday. It added around Rs. 5.25 crore to the tally on its Day 8, which is now its third biggest single-day collection.
The movie closed its extended first week at Rs. 35.50 crore gross at the Indian box office, which is possibly the second-best opening weekend for a Marathi film ever. It remained only behind Raja Shivaji's first week of Rs. 42.50 crore in its home turf. The way Deool Band 2 is performing, it is expected to overtake the Riteish Deshmukh-starrer in its full run and emerge as the biggest grosser in Marathi cinema.
Starring Mohan Joshi, Snehal Tarde, Pravin Tarde, Mahesh Manjrekar, and others, the devotional comedy drama has already emerged as a big success at the box office. The movie is likely to see a big growth in its second weekend, possibly bigger than the opening weekend, which will take its running cume over the Rs. 50 crore gross mark by the end of its second Sunday.
