Deool Band 2 collected Rs. 1.25 crore on its third Tuesday, registering a nominal spike on the previous day. The devotional drama surpassed the Rs. 75 crore gross mark at the Indian box office. The movie is expected to close its third week around Rs. 13.50 crore or so, which will take its total cume to Rs. 78 crore or so.
Currently standing at the fourth spot among the biggest Marathi grossers, the movie is likely to surpass the lifetime cume of Raja Shivaji (Marathi), possibly by the fourth weekend, and then it will march towards the top two Marathi grossers, Baipan Bhari Deva and Sairat. Based on current trends, the Pravin Tarde directorial is likely to end its entire theatrical run around the Rs. 95-100 crore mark.
Starring Mohan Joshi, Snehal Tarde, Pravin Tarde, Mahesh Manjrekar, and others, the devotional Marathi drama has already emerged as a big blockbuster at the box office.
