Disclosure Day India Box Office: Steven Spielberg's sci-fi thriller records big drop on 1st Monday, collects Rs 7.50 crore in 4 days
Disclosure Day, starring Emily Blunt, and directed by Steven Spielberg, almost crashed on its first Monday. The movie needs a miraculous turnaround from here on.
Steven Spielberg's newly released sci-fi thriller, Disclosure Day, is struggling at the Indian box office. The movie recorded a big drop on its first Monday after a decent opening weekend of Rs. 7 crore. It added just Rs. 50 lakh on Day 4, registering a sharp dip of 75 per cent from the opening day. Ideally, it should have been around a 50 per cent drop at most.
The running cume of Disclosure Day now stands at Rs. 7.50 crore gross at the Indian box office. Starring Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colin Ferth, and others, the movie is looking to wind up its first week around the Rs. 9 to 10 crore mark. It will face a couple of new releases in the second week, which might dent its box office run even further. That said, the movie is now heading for a disappointing end in India, unless it surprises with its trends in the coming weeks.
Based on current trends, the Steven Spielberg directorial is expected to close its entire box office run under the Rs. 20 crore gross mark in India. Previously this year, Hollywood delivered back-to-back successful ventures in India that include Project Hail Mary, Lee Cronin's The Mummy, Michael, The Devil Weds Prada 2, and Obsession.
Box Office Collections of Disclosure Day in India are as follows:
