Dream Girl Box Office Collection Day 10: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer inches closer to the 100 Crore club

One of the most talented and sought-after actors in Bollywood, Ayushmann Khurrana is on a roll with back to back hit films. His latest release Dream Girl, also featuring Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz in supporting roles, has successfully entered the second week and is steadily inching closer to the 100 Crore mark. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures, Dream Girl has received positive reviews so far.

According to the latest report in Box Office India, the comedy drama managed to collect 3.50 crore nett on its second Monday, which is extremely good business for a film. The total collection of the film has reached 98.50 crore nett approx and going by predictions, Dream Girl is expected to enter the 100 crore club very soon. While the film has emerged as a hit, only time will tell if it can beat the collection of Badhaai Ho and become a bigger hit than Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor's Chhichhore.

Dream Girl follows the life of a cross-gender actor named Karamveer Singh, played by Ayushmann, whose female voice impersonation helps him land a job at a female friendship call centre. He answers calls as Puja, winning many hearts and becoming the best employee. Things take a funny turn when he decides to marry Mahi, played by Nushrat, while there are 4 boys and 1 girl waiting in queue to marry Puja.
