Drishyam 3 Kerala Box Office Collections: Mohanlal starrer adds Rs 19 crore in Week 2, smashes Rs 82 crore in 15 days
Mohanlal's Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph, emerged as the 7th highest-grossing film in Kerala. It is expected to hold well against Mollywood Times in Week 3.
Malayalam film Drishyam 3 collected Rs. 1 crore on its second Thursday, closing its second week at Rs. 19.15 crore gross in Kerala. The movie took its running cume to Rs. 82 crore gross in its 15 days of theatrical run. With this sort of phenomenal run, the crime thriller has emerged as the 7th highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time in Kerala.
The movie surpassed Aadujeevitham's lifetime box office collections of Rs. 79.30 crore gross in its home turf. It is now heading to surpass Pulimurugan and L2 Empuraan. It is likely to overtake both these titles in its third weekend itself, after which the movie will enter the Top 5 list.
The Mohanlal starrer will face Mollywood Times from this weekend onwards, which might affect its run and slow down its momentum. If Drishyam 3 still manages to hold well in the third and fourth weeks, it is certain to enter the Rs. 100 crore gross club at the Kerala box office.
