Drishyam 3 Kerala Box Office Collections: Mohanlal starrer records SOLID hold on Day 2, hits Rs 20 crore in two days
Mohanlal's Drishyam 3 is running riots at the box office. The family crime thriller, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is looking to wind up its opening weekend around Rs. 40 crore plus.
Malayalam film Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is witnessing a phenomenal run at the box office. After opening with Rs. 11 crore, the family crime thriller added another Rs. 9 crore to the tally. It registered around an 18 per cent drop on Day 2 from the opening day.
The total cume of Drishyam 3 now stands at Rs. 20 crore. Based on current trends, the Mohanlal starrer is expected to see a good spike on Saturday and Sunday, with an eye on the double-digit numbers. That said, the movie has a strong chance of closing its 4-day opening weekend at the Kerala box office around the Rs. 40-45 crore mark.
Though the movie has garnered mixed bag reactions, it still has enough meat for the family and its cult audiences. However, it will be interesting to see whether Drishyam 3 can rise above the word-of-mouth and still deliver a blockbuster outing. That will depend heavily on how the film performs on weekdays.

Thus, the movie has huge potential to challenge the top grossers, both domestically and worldwide- Vaazha 2, Lokah Chapter One- Chandra, Thudarum, and others.
