Drishyam 3 Kerala Box Office Collections: Mohanlal's crime thriller surpasses L2 Empuraan, grosses Rs 86.50 crore in 19 days
Mohanlal starrer Drishyam 3, directed by Jeethu Joseph, emerged as the fifth highest grossing Malayalam movie of all time at the Kerala box office.
Malayalam film Drishyam 3, starring Mohanlal in the lead role, collected Rs. 50 lakh on its third Monday. The crime thriller took its third week to Rs. 4.60 crore in 4 days. The movie is likely to close this week around Rs. 7 crore, which will take its total cume to Rs. 89 crore or so.
The Mohanlal starrer movie has already surpassed the lifetime cume of L2 Empuraan (Rs. 86.25 crore) and emerged as the fifth highest-grossing movie of all time at the Kerala box office. Drishyam 3 is set to overtake 2018 soon, and then it will head toward its lifetime target. Based on current trends, the Jeethu Joseph starrer is expected to wind up its entire theatrical run around the Rs. 95 crore mark.
Entering the Rs. 100 crore club seems a bit difficult from here on; however, the movie has chances to surprise. Nevertheless, Drishyam 3 turned out to be a big Hit at the box office.
