Drishyam 3 Kerala Box Office Collections: Mohanlal's film collects Rs 1.40 crore on 2nd Tuesday, nears Rs 80 crore mark
Mohanlal's crime thriller drama, Drishyam 3, recorded another drop on its second Tuesday. The movie is all set to storm past the Rs. 80 crore mark eod.
Drishyam 3 added Rs. 1.40 crore to the tally on its 2nd Tuesday, registering a 30 per cent drop from the previous day. The movie took its second week's cume to Rs. 17 crore in 5 days, which took its entire theatrical run to Rs. 79.70 crore gross at the Kerala box office.
The Jeethu Joseph directorial will cross the Rs. 80 crore mark today. Based on its current trends, the movie is looking to wind up this week around Rs. 82-84 crore. The Mohanlal starrer should keep gaining momentum in the third week as well, against the new release, Mollywood Times. If it manages to sustain for a couple of weeks, Drishyam 3 can enter the Rs. 100 crore gross mark, however, that doesn't seem an easy task now.
The movie has already emerged as a big success at the box office. While the original film was an Industry Hit, the sequel skipped theatrical release, and now the third instalment is filling all the void and raking in phenomenal business. However, it will not be able to emerge Industry Hit like its first part.
