Drishyam 3 Kerala Box Office Collections: Mohanlal's film fetches Rs 9 crore plus on Day 3, grosses Rs 29 crore in 3 days
Drishyam 3, starring Mohanlal in his iconic role of Georgekutty, is looking to wind up its opening weekend on a solid note of nearly Rs. 40 crore mark.
Drishyam 3 collected Rs. 9.20 crore on its Day 3, registering a nominal spike over Day 2. The three-day cume of the Mohanlal starrer now stands at Rs. 29 crore gross at the Kerala box office. The crime thriller, directed by Jeethu Joseph, is expected to see another spike on Day 4 and close its first weekend around Rs. 40 crore gross mark.
The third instalment of the much-loved franchise will cross the Rs. 50 crore mark on weekdays, possibly by Wednesday. How far the Mohanlal movie can go from there on will depend on how it holds on weekdays and then in the second week.
Drishyam 3 has already emerged as a successful venture. It will end up bagging a Clean Hit or Super Hit verdict by the end of its theatrical run. Since the movie met with mixed word-of-mouth, it might not enter the top three biggest grossers at the Kerala box office.
