Drishyam 3 Kerala Box Office Collections: Mohanlal's film storms past Rs 50 crore mark in mere 6 days, second fastest after L2 Empuraan
Mohanlal continued to storm the box office with its terrific hold. The movie recorded the second fastest entry in the Rs. 50 crore club at the Kerala box office.
Drishyam 3 is witnessing a terrific run at the box office. The Mohanlal starrer family crime thriller, directed by Jeethu Joseph, added Rs. 5.75 crore to the tally on its Day 6 (Tuesday). It registered a 10 per cent drop from Monday and around 45 per cent from the opening day.
With its phenomenal hold at the box office, the movie stormed past the Rs. 50 crore mark in Kerala. The movie took 6 days to achieve this milestone, becoming the second-fastest entrant in the Half-century crore box office club, trailing only behind Mohanlal's own L2 Empuraan.
The movie will keep holding well on Thursday as well. In fact, the movie is looking for a jump on Day 7, thanks to the Eid-al-Adha holiday. Based on the trends, the movie will close this week around Rs. 57-58 crore in Kerala. Such impressive weekdays mean the movie will see a big second weekend. That said, Drishyam 3 has the potential to not only enter the Rs. 100 crore club in Kerala, but also challenge the top grossers, Vaazha 2, Lokah Chapter One: Chandra, and Thudarum.
