Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga is ‘coming-of-age’ romantic drama, starring Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in the lead roles. It was one of the anticipated movies of the year. Finally, the movie is out on the screens for the people to watch and give their verdict. The movie opened with a dull note in the morning shows around 5% occupancy rate but later in afternoon and evening shows, it has picked up. The reviews pouring in for the movie on social media prove that it has been able to impress the fans.

We got in touch with Trade Analyst Girish Johar to know the box office occupancy rate of Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla’s movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. He told us, “It started with around 5% occupancy rate in the morning shows but it’s picking up now. The current status is around 30%. For movies like this one, it depends on the word of mouth and it might pick up more.” The movie is also facing competition from Vicky Kaushal’s URI The Surgical Strikes as it’s still doing wonders at the box office.

Yesterday, when we contacted Girish to know opening day predictions. He had told us, “All the stalwarts are coming together and one of the premium production houses is producing Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, so the expectations are quite high from the film. But, seeing the tonality and the content they have shared in the trailers. they are targeting the multiplex audiences and high-end cities of the country. It will also be dependent on the word of mouth. I feel it should earn around Rs 3 crore on its opening day. From there onwards, the content will take over. The film is being promoted for a targeted audience. The songs have created awareness for it and rest, fingers crossed.”

A movie like this should not have a budget above 10 Crores, if higher it flops.

Its a well scripted film. Please watch! Love the movie
