Gatta Kushthi 2 Opening Weekend Worldwide Box Office: Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi's film takes superb start, grosses Rs 19 crore globally in 3 days
Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi starrer recorded a phenomenal opening weekend at the worldwide box office. The sports action drama is looking to close this week on a high note.
Tamil film Gatta Kushthi 2, starring Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead, is performing well at the box office. The sports action drama, directed by Chella Ayyavu, smashed over Rs. 19 crore in its opening weekend at the worldwide box office. Of this, around Rs. 15.70 crore came from domestic markets alone, while overseas territories contributed nearly USD 350K, i.e., Rs. 3.30 crore gross.
It turned out to be the biggest weekend grosser for Vishnu Vishal overseas and the second biggest weekend grosser overall at the worldwide box office, trailing only behind Ratsasan. The sports action drama met with positive word-of-mouth, which is driving its business at the box office.
The movie will keep on gaining traction even on weekdays. So far, the movie is heading to emerge as a Clean Hit venture at the box office, depending on how it holds in the coming days. It will be interesting to see how far the movie can go from here on.
