I, Nobody witnessed a significant drop of nearly 55 per cent on Day 2. The movie added Rs. 1.05 crore to the tally on Friday, taking the two-day theatrical run to Rs. 3.30 crore gross at the Kerala box office. That's a low figure for a Prithviraj Sukumaaran film. The way it is performing, the movie is likely to close its first week around Rs. 7 to 9 crore gross.
The movie has received mixed word-of-mouth, which is why the movie might not see the kind of growth it needed over the weekend. Had there been better buzz around the film along with positive WOM, things would have been much better. Still, the movie can sail through a successful run if it manages to record a good growth in the long run.
The fate of I, Nobody will be crucial for Prithviraj as he hasn't seen a Clean Hit venture for a long time. Although the actor has a huge lineup pending, every film's result somehow affects the overall actor's body of work.
