I, Nobody Opening Day Box Office: Prithviraj Sukumaaran starrer opens with Rs 2.25 crore in Kerala
Prithviraj Sukumaaran's newly released movie, I, Nobody, recorded a decent start at the Kerala box office. The movie needs to show better trends over the weekend.
Malayalam film I, Nobody began its box office run on a decent note. The movie collected Rs. 2.25 crore nett on its opening day at the Indian box office. Though the start is decent, it's not satisfactory enough for a Prithviraj Sukumaaran starrer. The movie had low advance sales, which was shocking in itself.
Nevertheless, the movie garnered a favourable word-of-mouth among the audience, which should help it grow over the weekend. Directed by Nisam Basheer, the action thriller drama should aim to close its extended first weekend around Rs. 8 to 10 crore nett or so in order to have a chance at the box office.
Since there is no competition, the movie should work in the long run. However, a lot will depend on how it holds on weekdays. The fate of I, Nobody will be crucial for Prithviraj as his last few films didn't strike the right chords with the audience.
