Krishnavataram Part 1 Hridayam Box Office Collections: Siddharth Gupta starrer maintains steady run, crosses Rs 10 crore mark
Krishnavataram Part 1 Hridayam, starring a newcomer cast, is looking to wind up its first week around Rs. 11.50 crore or so. It needs a strong jump in the second week.
Krishnavataram Part 1: Hridayam is witnessing a decent run at the box office. The movie added Rs. 1.15 crore to the tally on its first Wednesday, registering a nominal jump over Monday. The running cume of Krishnavataram Part 1: Hridayam crossed the Rs. 10 crore mark in 6 days of its theatrical run.
The mythological fantasy drama will close its run around Rs. 11.50 crore or so. It needs to show a strong jump on the second weekend and then maintain a good run on the weekdays, in order to reach a respectable total. Though the movie is performing decently considering its cast and release size, it is not satisfactory for the cost it has.
There was Mahavatar Narsimha last year, which was an animated film based on two of the avatars of Lord Vishnu. That film opened to Rs. 1.25 crore nett on the first day, saw exponential growth over the weekend to Rs. 3.25 crore nett on Saturday and Rs. 6.25 crore nett on Sunday. It eventually went on to collect Rs. 170 crore nett in Hindi. Krishnavataram is a live-action film on the Krishna avatar. These films are hard to predict. We also saw a film like Laalo: Krishna Sada Sahayate last year, which did almost nothing in the first three weeks and then exploded.
The Box Office Collections for Krishnavataram Part 1: The Heart (Hindi) in India are as follows:
