Hollywood film Lee Cronin's The Mummy is looking to wind up its entire theatrical run around Rs. 36-37 crore gross at the Indian box office.
Lee Cronin's The Mummy is holding well at the Indian box office. The Hollywood horror flick added Rs. 4 crore to the tally in its third week, with nearly Rs. 2.75 crore coming in the weekend. The movie registered a drop of about 65 per cent from the previous week, which is a big dip.
The 3-week running cume of Lee Cronin's The Mummy reached Rs. 33.25 crore gross at the Indian box office. It is going to surpass the Rs. 35 crore mark soon and is likely to wrap up its entire run around Rs. 36-37 crore gross. The movie has already emerged as a Clean Hit venture at the Indian box office.
The horror film performed best in South India, especially in Tamil Nadu, where it emerged as a Super Hit venture. It fetched around Rs. 11 crore gross from Tamil Nadu alone, which is a huge figure for a film like this. Lee Cronin's The Mummy turned out to be the second Hollywood Hit this year in India, after Project Hail Mary.
