Main Vaapas Aaunga Box Office Collections: Imtiaz Ali's film holds well on 3rd Saturday, nears Rs 45 crore mark
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the romantic drama should comfortably cruise past Rs. 50 crore nett by its fourth weekend. Based on current trends, the movie is expected to finish its entire box office run at Rs. 65-70 crore nett.
Main Vaapas Aaunga maintained a good hold at the box office. The movie collected Rs. 4.10 crore on its 3rd Saturday, registering a 55 per cent spike from the previous day. The Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari starrer movie is looking to end this week around Rs. 10-11 crore, which will take the running cume closer to the Rs. 45 crore mark.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the romantic drama should comfortably cruise past Rs. 50 crore nett by its fourth weekend. Based on current trends, the movie is expected to finish its entire box office run at Rs. 65-70 crore nett. That figure would normally be good for calling this film even a HIT, but the costs are a bit on the higher side, plus since the first two weeks’ contribution is low, the SHARE from these NETT numbers won’t be that high as it typically would be.
Reaching Rs. 65-70 crore nett isn’t a done deal yet, but the film is on course to reach there, provided it continues to sustain this level of collections. Also crucial is going to be the overseas performance, where the film has collected USD 1.50 million so far, suffering from extremely limited showcasing. Given the appreciation this film has got, it could have targeted USD 4-5 million final, but now even USD 3 million will be a very good finish.
The Box Office Collections for Main Vaapas Aaunga in India are as follows:
| Day | Nett |

| Week Two | Rs. 21.25 cr. |
| 3rd Friday | Rs. 2.65 cr. |
| 3rd Saturday | Rs. 4.10 cr. |
| Total | Rs. 39.50 cr. |
