Main Vaapas Aaunga collected Rs. 1.35 crore on its third Monday, registering a 50 per cent drop from the previous Friday. The drop is a bit higher than the hold it's been having so far, but at some point, this was going to happen. The third week's cume reached Rs. 12.25 crore in four days, which took its running cume to Rs. 45 crore nett at the Indian box office.

The Imtiaz Ali movie is looking to close its third week around Rs. 15 to 17 crore, which will take its total cume to Rs. 50 crore mark. It is like a miraculous figure when the first day was almost a crore. The movie saw immense love and appreciation from the audience, which saved it from almost a deadlock. However, the movie still needs to do a lot better to bag a Clean Hit verdict. But it's now in a good position to be a success.

Since the drop is a bit higher, this also makes reaching the Rs. 70 crore net mark a bit difficult, but it's not ruled out yet. However, it won't be easy. The Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Sharvari film needs to sustain this level of collections for a couple of weeks while facing new releases.

Also crucial is going to be the overseas performance, where the film is suffering from extremely limited showcasing. Given the appreciation this film has got, it could have targeted USD 4-5 million final, but now even USD 3 million will be a very good finish.
