Men In Black: International released this weekend and it has failed to hit the mark in India. The movie sees Chris Hemsworth venturing out for the first time since Avengers: Endgame. The actor reunites with his Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson for the reboot of the hit Men In Black franchise. The reboot hasn't been welcomed the way one would have expected. MIBI did not open to a jaw-dropping start. The F. Gary Gray directorial opened with an approximate of Rs 3 crore on Friday.

Box Office India reports that the movie collected Rs 3.50 crore on Saturday. The Day 2 collections were just 20 percent higher than the opening day collection. Thus, Men In Black: International currently stands boasts a collection of Rs 6.5 crore in just two days. Although the collection is dull, MIBI is the top new release this week. The movie released along with Taapsee Pannu's Game Over, which has collected Rs 1.25 crore on Day 2.

On the international front, Men In Black: International has "bombed." The film opened to a poor $10.4 million Friday at the US box office, Forbes reports. The movie is expected to bow down to a collection of $26.2 million opening weekend collection. This is less than the projected opening weekend collection. MIBI was tracking an opening weekend collection of $30 million. The movie is not performing well in China either. The movie earned $9 million opening day collection on Friday.

Men In Black: International is set in the same universe as the previous MIB movies, starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. The new movie sees Hemsworth and Thompson play agents while Emma Thompson reprises her role as Agent O. The reboot also stars Kumail Nanjiani, Rebecca Ferguson, Rafe Spall and twins Laurent and Larry Bourgeois in crucial roles. Have you watched Men In Black: International yet?
