The Hollywood film Michael, starring Jaafar Jackson in the lead role, collected Rs. 4.25 crore in its 5th week at the Indian box office. The movie registered a 43-45 per cent drop from the previous week, which is a good hold. The musical biopic took its running cume to Rs. 76.50 crore gross at the Indian box office.

Directed by Antoine Fuqua, the movie is expected to surpass the Rs. 80 crore mark soon, and then it will head towards its final target. Its hold in the coming weeks will determine whether the movie will be able to overtake Project Hail Mary's final cume in India or not. Nevertheless, Michael is currently the second biggest Hollywood grosser in India this year.

The movie has performed best in South Indian states and Mumbai, where the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, was most popular. Hollywood is witnessing a glorious run in India this year, with back-to-back successes. While the second half of 2026 is packed with big Hollywood titles, it will be interesting to see whether more small or mid-sized movies can surprise at the box office.

The Box Office Collections for Michael in India are as follows:

Day Gross
Week One Rs. 31.25 cr.
Week Two  Rs. 20.50 cr.
Week Three Rs. 13.00 cr.
Week Four Rs. 7.50 cr.
