Mission Mangal Box Office Collection Day 4: Akshay Kumar starrer registers amazing numbers on its first Sunday

Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu starrer has been doing amazingly well at the box office. After a small dip on Friday, the movie witnessed an upward trend on the weekend. Speaking of Sunday's collection, the movie has collected around Rs 27-27.50 crore nett. As per Box Office India, the collections in the bigger circuits like Mumbai and Delhi / UP are the highest of the year. For the unversed, Kabir Singh had collected 27.25 crore nett on its first Sunday and with the same, the movie secured the best Sunday of 2019 for a Hindi film title.

The BOI report states, "If it does turn out to be the highest Sunday of 2019 then it will be after an extended weekend while Kabir Singh was a normal weekend. The extended four-day weekend total of the film is a huge 96 crore nett plus and now it's about how strong that Monday will hold."

For the uninitiated, on Saturday, the film collected Rs 23.50 crore nett and the total was Rs 69 crore nett of three days. Speaking of its Friday collection, as reported, the movie saw a 40% dip and had collected Rs 16-17 crore. Talking about the movie, the same boasts a stellar cast comprising of Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan, Nithya Menen, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi and Kirti Kulhari among others. The movie is directed by Jagan Shakti and jointly produced by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, Fox Star Studios, Aruna Bhatia and Anil Naidu.
