Mollywood Times Kerala Box Office: Naslen starrer crashes on 1st Monday, grosses Rs 6 crore in 4 days
Naslen's Mollywood Times, directed by Abhinav Sundar Nayak, couldn't hold well on its first Monday. The movie is heading for a disastrous end.
Mollywood Times collected Rs. 65 lakh on its first Monday, registering a 65 per cent drop from the opening day. That said, the movie crashed on Monday, and now it is heading towards a disappointing total. The 4-day running cume of Mollywood Times currently stands at Rs. 6.15 crore.
The Naslen starrer met with mixed to average word-of-mouth, which is why the movie couldn't show any promising growth so far. It remained almost flat on weekdays and then witnessed a significant drop on Monday. Had the movie received a positive reception, it would have recorded a much better box office run.
Based on current trends, Mollywood Times is expected to end its entire theatrical run under the Rs. 10 crore mark, which will be a disastrous total for the film.

Mollywood Times follows a young man who dreams of becoming the greatest horror filmmaker in Malayalam cinema, drawing inspiration from M. Night Shyamalan. The story focuses on the challenges he faces and the lengths he goes to in pursuit of that dream. The film is being touted as a “hate letter” to cinema.
The movie stars Naslen in the lead role, with Sharaf U Dheen appearing as the co-lead. Apart from them, the cast includes Sangeeth Prathap, Althaf Salim, Roshan Shanavas, Prasanth Alexander, Rajesh Madhavan, and several others in key roles. Additionally, Basil Joseph and Vineeth Sreenivasan are expected to appear in cameo appearances.
