Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Box Office Collections: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer adds Rs 1 crore on 3rd Friday, nets Rs 41 crore in 15 days
Ayushmann Khurrana's Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is going to go over the Rs. 50 crore mark in its full run, which isn't anything game-changing but somewhat face-saving after a dismal start.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do added Rs. 1 crore to the tally on its third Friday. The drop from the previous Friday is around 20 per cent. The movie took its total box office collections to the Rs. 41.25 crore mark in its 15 days of theatrical run.
The trend is good, but the problem is that it's coming at a low level of business, which isn't taking it anywhere. Still, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is going to go over Rs. 50 crore, which isn't anything game-changing but somewhat face-saving after a dismal start. There is some amount of feeding there, so even that is to be taken with a sterisk.
For the unversed, the original film was a Clean Hit at the box office. The Kartik Aaryan starrer had a full run of Rs. 80 crore nett in India, which is now a tough mark to achieve for rom-coms releasing in the post-2020 era. Had this film been released in the pre-2020 era, it likely would have done much better at the box office.
