Pati Patni Aur Woh Do Box Office Collections: Ayushmann Khurrana's rom-com jumps by 10 per cent on 3rd Tuesday, nears Rs 50 crore mark
Ayushmann Khurrana's Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is going to go over the Rs. 50 crore, which isn't anything game-changing but somewhat face-saving after a dismal start.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Do collected Rs. 80 lakh on its third Tuesday, jumping by around 10 per cent over Monday. The romantic comedy drama, directed by Mudassar Aziz, took its running cume to Rs. 46.30 crore gross at the Indian box office.
Based on current trends, the Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rakul Preet Singh starrer is heading to close its entire box office run around Rs. 50 crore gross mark. Though it will not change its fate at the box office, it is still a reasonable total after a dismal start and external feedings.
For the unversed, the original film was a Clean Hit at the box office. The Kartik Aaryan starrer had a full run of Rs. 80 crore nett in India, which is now a tough mark to achieve for rom-coms releasing in the post-2020 era. Had this film been released in the pre-2020 era, it likely would have done much better at the box office.
