Pati Patni Aur Woh Do India Box Office: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer nears the Rs 50 crore mark; 55 percent jump on 3rd Saturday
Ayushmann Khurrana's Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, directed by Mudassar Aziz, is expected to wind its second weekend around Rs. 45 crore mark and then it will march toward its final target.
Ayushmann Khurrana's Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, directed by Mudassar Aziz, collected Rs. 1.55 crore on its third Saturday. The movie registered a 55 per cent spike on Friday and around a 38 per cent drop from the previous Saturday. This took its running cume to Rs. 42.80 crore nett at the Indian box office.
The romantic-comedy drama is expected to close its third weekend by taking its total cume near the Rs. 45 crore gross mark. And then, it will march toward its lifetime target, which is expected to be around Rs. 50 crore gross mark. Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will face a couple of new releases in the fourth week, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, Bandar, and Peddi, which will definitely have an impact on the screen share, eventually pushing it out of the cinemas.
For the unversed, the original film was a Clean Hit at the box office. The Kartik Aaryan starrer had a full run of Rs. 80 crore nett in India, which is now a tough mark to achieve for rom-coms releasing in the post-2020 era. Had this film been released in the pre-2020 era, it likely would have done much better at the box office.
