Patriot Kerala Box Office Collection: Mammootty and Mohanlal's reunion film collects mere Rs 35 lakh in 3rd Weekend, targets under Rs 30 crore end
Directed by Mahesh Narayanan, Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal, turned out to be a big disaster at the box office. The movie is heading to close its entire run under the Rs. 30 crore mark.
Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal in the lead roles, recorded a dismal third weekend. The movie added just Rs. 35 lakh to the tally, with its third Sunday contributing around Rs. 15 lakh. The movie recorded a sharp decline of 80 per cent from the second weekend, which was itself disappointing.
The spy thriller, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, is taking its last few breaths at the box office. Currently standing at Rs. 29.10 crore, the movie is looking to wrap its third week around Rs. 29.30 crore or so. That said, Patriot won't be able to cross the Rs. 30 crore mark in Kerala in its entire run.
While Patriot turned out to be a disaster, all hopes and expectations are now on Drishyam 3. The upcoming Mohanlal starrer is witnessing solid pre-sales, which suggests a record start at the box office. If the movie manages to gain a positive reception, the sky will be the limit for its box office potential.
