Patriot Kerala Box Office: Mammootty and Mohanlal starrer collects Rs 4.50 crore in Week 2, set to wrap theatrical run at Rs 30 crore
Mammootty and Mohanlal starrer spy thriller, Patriot, is looking for its theatrical end at Rs. 30 crore gross mark. The movie turned out to be disaster at the box office.
Malayalam film Patriot hits a new low on its second Thursday, collecting mere Rs. 10 lakh. The movie registered an 80 per cent drop from the previous day. That's a huge dip, which suggests its theatrical end is soon. The spy thriller wrapped up its second week at Rs. 4.50 crore.
Allied to its first week of Rs. 24.25 crore, the Mammootty starrer took its running cume to Rs. 28.75 crore in 14 days. The movie is looking for a theatrical end of around Rs. 30 crore or so in Kerala, which is a disastrous result for a huge film like this.
While Patriot didn't do well, all hopes and expectations are on Drishyam 3. The upcoming Mohanlal starrer is witnessing a banger pre-sales, which suggests a historic start at the box office. If the movie manages to gain a positive reception, the sky will be the limit for its box office potential.
