Patriot Kerala Box Office: Mammootty and Mohanlal starrer spy thriller adds Rs 50 lakh on 2nd Tuesday, targets Rs 35 crore final
Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan, and starring Mammootty and Mohanlal, continued its low-and-steady run at the box office. The spy thriller is heading to wind up its entire run at Rs. 35 crore gross.
Patriot, starring Mammootty and Mohanlal in the lead roles, is struggling at the box office. The movie added another Rs. 50 lakh to the tally on its 2nd Tuesday, taking the total cume to Rs. 28.15 crore gross in its home state. The Mahesh Narayanan directorial is looking to cross the Rs. 30 crore mark by the end of this week, and then it will march toward its final target.
Based on the current trends, Patriot is heading to close its theatrical run around Rs. 35 to 38 crore or so in Kerala, which is a disastrous result for such a big film and a mega-ensemble star cast. One of the major reasons why the movie fell flat at the box office is its mixed to poor word-of-mouth. It was considered a potential contender of Rs. 100 crore club in its home turf, but now it is even struggling to reach a respectable total.
While Patriot didn't do well, all hopes and expectations are on Drishyam 3. The upcoming Mohanlal starrer is witnessing a banger pre-sales, which suggests a historic start at the box office. If the movie manages to gain a positive reception, the sky will be the limit for its box office potential.
Day-wise box office collections of Patriot in Kerala are as follows:
| Day | Box Office |
| 1 | Rs. 8.50 crore |
| 2 | Rs. 5.25 crore |
| 3 | Rs. 5.00 crore |
| 4 | Rs. 1.75 crore |
| 5 | Rs. 1.50 crore |
| 6 | Rs. 1.25 crore |
| 7 | Rs. 1.00 crore |
| 8 | Rs. 0.80 crore |

| 10 | Rs. 1.10 crore |
| 11 | Rs. 0.50 crore |

| Total | Rs. 28.15 crore (est.) |
