Entering the Pinkvilla Predicts tracking this week are Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Bandar. Chand Mera Dil is getting a trailer update. This is the final forecast for Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai (5th June 2026)
First day box office forecast: Rs. 6-9 crore

A rom-com starring Varun Dhawan in the lead. His last rom-com, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, opened to Rs. 9 crore nett, but that was on a holiday, dropping to Rs. 5.50 crore nett on the next day. The expectations from this are of a similar level of performance, unless the trailer moves the needle.

The film was initially slated to release on 22nd May in a clash with Chand Mera Dil, for which the forecasted opening range stood at Rs. 5-8 crore. With the release now shifted to 5th June as a solo release, the forecast sees a slight upward revision.

Other Updates
No material movement for Pati Patni Aur Woh Do in the final week before release. Bookings opened yesterday, but the film has yet to show meaningful traction in pre-sales. Consequently, the forecast is revised downward to Rs. 3-5.50 crore, with a pinpoint forecast of Rs. 3.50 crore.

Chand Mera Dil got a trailer, which has been received well. The music has also started to grow, although it is not yet at the level where it should be. The film is now projected to open in the Rs. 4-7 crore range.
