Project Hail Mary India Box Office Collections: Ryan Gosling's film wraps Week 4 at Rs 8 crore, hits Rs 80 crore in 29 days
The running cume of the Ryan Gosling starrer reached Rs. 80 crore. It needs Rs. 20 crore more to reach the Rs. 100 crore in India, however, that doesn't seem to be coming.
Project Hail Mary wrapped its 4th week around Rs. 8 crore, with Rs. 50 lakh coming on the 4th Thursday. The movie recorded a drop of 55 per cent from the previous week. That's a big drop, which suggests that the movie will end its theatrical run soon.
The running cume of the Ryan Gosling starrer reached Rs. 80 crore. It needs Rs. 20 crore more to reach the Rs. 100 crore in India, however, that doesn't seem to be coming. Based on the current trends, the movie should add Rs. 2 crore to Rs. 4 crore in its 5th week and close its entire theatrical cume around the Rs. 85 crore to Rs. 90 crore mark.
While space adventure isn’t a surefire genre at the Indian box office, it has delivered some strong performers over the years, including Interstellar and Gravity. The Ryan Gosling starrer emerged as a big blockbuster in India, thanks to its promising hold throughout the run. Franchises and established brands largely drive the Hollywood box office in India, something Project Hail Mary lacks as a standalone film, which makes its success all the more rare and noteworthy.
