Raja Shivaji collected Rs. 8 crore approx on its 2nd Sunday at the Indian box office. The film showcased a good 20 per cent growth from Saturday. The week-on-week drop from the previous Sunday was also good, close to 45 per cent. The second weekend for the Riteish Deshmukh amounted to nearly Rs. 19 crore, which brings its running total to Rs. 80 crore approx.

The language split for the film after the second weekend stands at Rs. 56.25 crore approx for Marathi and Rs. 24 crore (Rs. 20 crore nett) for Hindi-dubbed.

The film is now cruising towards Rs. 100 crore mark, the ETA on that being sometime in the third week. That will be a first for Marathi cinema, with the previous best being Sairat and Baipan Bhari Deva at around Rs. 90 crore. Notably, those two had just the Marathi version, with almost all of their business coming from Maharashtra, while Raja Shivaji has a Hindi-dubbed version and a good amount of business outside Maharashtra.

There is a sense that the film could have aimed even higher. The Marathi box office records were sort of set for it; the target was films like Tanhaji and Chhaava, which were also based on figures from the Maratha Empire. Tanhaji grossed around Rs. 175 crore in Maharashtra state back in 2020 (adjusted to over Rs. 250 crore today), while Chhaava went on to collect over Rs. 300 crore. Raja Shivaji is centred on the very founder and leader of that empire, long anticipated and made in the empire's own language. While the film has done well so far, it is no longer in the running to reach the heights which Tanhaji and Chhaava reached.

The Box Office Collections for Raja Shivaji in India are as follows:

Day Gross
Friday Rs. 13.25 cr.
Saturday Rs. 12.25 cr.
Sunday Rs. 14.75 cr.
Monday Rs. 6.50 cr.

2nd Friday Rs. 4.00 cr.
2nd Saturday Rs. 6.75 cr.
